In terms of being rich with great friends

Yeah not that it helps get me a penthouse , beer stocked fridge and 24 hour female nubile naked room service

Ok, in all seriousness, if I live long enough (that is longer than my parents) then some day I will be a millionaire. This is guarenteed by insurance. But a million ain't what it used to be and by the time I get it it won't be what it is now. Not to mention that I'll be too old to do much with it.

I suppose I was once a millonaire on paper when my business was going well and my propertys were worth a few quid. But I never cashed in. Never even thought about it. Today i'm happy to live a simple life. I have met a few spoofers who claimed to be very rich. But they always got found out in the end.

This reminds me of that sketch quicky that the Two Ronnies(Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett) did with the two tramps in the allotment. I may have got it slightly wrong but you'll get the gist

Really, would you be any happier if you were a millionaire?

I hear a lot of people saying "If I were a millionaire, or if I had a million." And I can't help thinking, yeah you would be just as broke as you are now!

I've got food on the table, clothes on my back. Got a couple decent vehicles to drive. A roof over my head. Everything is paid for, got some money in the bank. I ain't rich, but I ain't hurtin' either. A lot of folks can't say that, especially these days. In this live beyond your means, keep up with the Jones' society.

If I did have some cash to throw around, I think I'd help out those that are really hurting. Give to the food bank, drop a surprise bag of groceries on somebody's door step. I'm a firm believer of "Charity begins at home."

To quote Charlie Daniels "I ain't got a lot, but I damn sure got it made."

Let's not forget "lotto lout" Mickey Carroll who won £10 million quid. He has squandered it all, and signing on the dole. What a stupid bastard. He had enough to live comfortably the rest of his life and then some.
