We don't do this here in Bavaria!

We have only one pilot!
And he has a licence!

Best regards

A special post just for my mate, Sir Palo Gillard 5th

I was coming home a few hours ago from my parents place, camera was in the car, so I took these few snaps, just for you

Mate, download them and view them full size, have a look at the time of day and the outside temperature reading on the display Got hotter close too sundown ...... And tomorrow the first figure will be a 4

And just too make my post topic legal, since it was supposed to be about dangerous wildlife here .......

Not meant too shock, but that's an extremely common sight here, you hit one of those doing the speed limit, your car won't look great, and there's even been people who have not been able too talk about it later on, if ya know what I mean

Honestly i remember being asked by a policeman. when i was a cubscout (yes we get those here) which side if the road should i ride my bike on, when trying for some proficieny badge.

I persisted in saying "the right side" "which i'm sure wasn't technically really wrong, although i had to walk home.

I really shoulda been a bee scout, rather than a boy scout.

Ah well. I'll try again tomorrow. We Aussie's are a persistant breed.

I believe you. Large wildlife can be a danger to traffic in many places, unless you're driving a truck. We have problems with moose. Other animals too (reindeer etc) but moose are by far the biggest

I was wondering if you had any comparably big wildlife in Australia, and then I remembered the "one million wild camels" you're said to have. Are they a problem too?

I don't know if E's come across camels in his travels. I'm pretty sure i haven't. They are mostly in the Northern Territory, along with herds of wild cattle that they used to have to cull from choppers, although i believe some of the locals are utiising them now.

Wombats can make a mess out of a family car. Small but solid.

I suppose you're right. It's a big country and there probably aren't many roads in the desert. But if you were in a small car and one fell on you...

Well. If she fell on my car, I'd call a tow truck before the ambulance
