I don't get it either - I've also got a BMW 318i - it's insured for me, my two twenty something yr old sons and one of their tarts and it only costs me about £800. Have you got any NCB?

Either way, I'm not happy and on the subject Greenman don't even start me on Confused.com.....
Insurance is usually based on the drivers age and experience as well as the value to replace/repair their car. The other major items are the number of cars in your area and the crime rate. My insurance went down when I moved from a big city to a small town. Do you have street parking or a garage? Insurance companies spend a fortune repairing "nuisance vandalism". Sometimes it's just plain greed. Shop around and look for lower quotes. They must send a refund if you cancel your policy and move your business to a less expensive competitor.

Yes, 7 years, definately 5. I'm annoyed with Confused.com as they emailed me to say they'd found an insurer who'd cover me for £750. I left it 'til payday and found the link didn't work. When I called the insurer they told me that quote had expired and it was £1000, from the lowest quote Confused.com had found me. I park in the driveway.

I've heard a rumour that Greenman's attic has also been shortlisted as a possible missile launching site!

However, there's no reason to be worried, Greenman. As pointed out in the BBC News article, The MoD says that the missiles will be manned by "fully trained, professional soldiers", not by kids from the local primary school as had previously been assumed!

Default Woman walks around naked after drinking energizing beverage

I don't know if this is news. After all, it was in Sverdlovsk

Yeltsin came from Sverdlovsk, and he also was well-known for 'energizing beverages' and crazy behavior

I wish they'd put missiles on the roof of my house - no one would drop litter when they walked past without instant retribution and I could also take out the fu*ckers who let their dogs shit in the park across the street - in fact I could completely exclude the undeserving poor from my locale with a "NO SHELL SUITS ZONE".
