Lay off Diane Abbot! She makes combine look intelligent and statesman like!

GREAT PLAN LABOUR!!!

Renationalise several things for a mere £140 Billion, spend £480 odd million on social propaganda, four years of Labour and we would owe in excess of a trillion!

Tax higher earners more, they already pay a hell of a lot more tax, tax companies more, and see the investment in British Industry drop yet again til we reach the seventies standard again!

Well I am going to go and buy that Bugatti I always dream about, haven't got the money of course, but I will ask someone from the Labour finance committee how to get hold of it. They will know!

My wife's best friend's partner. A dysfunctional, narcissistic, self-absorbed wanker. Can't stand it anymore; last night I told my wife that I'll socialise with her friend, but I won't if he's there.

Hate to break this to you ruper
In fact it doesn't half annoy me
Only within the next two years and if the supposi-Tories are allowed to maintain their financial plans the national debt will have doubled to two trillion.
For nothing
Thanks to the steady billions a month borrowing (Now fucked off to enjoy life even more than before) of our former Chancellor

Yes our (Don't you like that term "Our") national debt has nearly doubled already. Despite services draconic-ally cut to the bone.
Baffling and bizarre huh
But infuriatingly true
Hmmm so we've had seven years of white knuckle austerity and yet our bankers and politicians created debt is coming close to have doubled by the end of this decade
Meanwhile.
There`s a million plus a week reduced to food bank visits , pensioners left to rot on the vine and the disabled so stressed out at their inability to pay £20 per extra bedroom tax now their benefits have gotten cut they've been killing themselves. To name but three tragic unnecessary occurrences
A second trillion. How ?. Where`s the money gone and going ?.
You should ask yourself that and wonder.
To have achieved the epic result of doubling the national debt so rapidly and during the heaviest period of austerity in living memory is frankly jaw dropping.
In fact it`s criminal !.

Still what can we expect from a party that used Mexican drugs cartel money in 2008 to prevent itself going bankrupt

I think Labour are fully aware that They have as much chance of being elected as Gm has of being Pope. The Manifesto is a statement of intent,A position marker for the coming Labour civil war,It's the 80's all over again..What annoys Me is that I might as well draw around My genitals on the Ballot paper than vote for any candidate except the Tories..

In 2001 the National Debt stood at 34.6%. By the start of the coalition in 2010, that had risen to 76%. During the last seven years it has risen to 89.1%. At the begining of this government, and the coalition we were told and warned that spending would need to be high to service the existing debts left by Labour, if you have a credit card, you pay the minimum, you watch the debt rise!

Quote:
At the start of 2007, there were few economists expressing concern at government borrowing running at 36% of GDP. By post-war standards, UK government debt was low and the government appeared to be meeting its own reasonable fiscal targets.
Given the period of strong economic growth, it is unsurprising that Labour wished to increase spending on health care and education. If the financial crisis hadn’t materialised, we may have looked back on the great moderation with kinder eyes.
However, a critic would point out that we did have a financial crisis and running a budget deficit during an unsustainable economic boom was irresponsible. In retrospect, Labour would have been better reducing the public sector debt further. This would have given the government even more room for manoeuvre during the crisis of 2008-12. Also, with growth strong, this was the best time to reduce the budget deficit. The mantra of Keynesians during the crisis has been – a recession is the wrong time to reduce a budget deficit. Given high growth in the 2000s, it would have been better to be stricter with public spending. Even counter cyclical fiscal policy measures such as higher income tax, higher stamp duty may have reduced the housing and financial bubble and made the subsequent crash less dramatic.
This is a fair point. It was a mistake to be running budget deficits of 3% of GDP towards the end of the boom. However, the mistake is relatively minor. The boom was in finance and housing; inflation was running low (unlike say the 1980s boom) Most of the economic profession never saw the extent of the forthcoming recession. From a macro perspective, it didn’t look like a classic boom and bust (high growth and inflation)

Unfortunately, there is absolutely nobody I want to vote for and I'm not prepared to support my crap local Tory MP just to keep Labour at bay.

Labour are living in the past, which is a pity, as I'll never forgive Thatcher for selling off all our utilities and failing to get rid of ever rising council charges. We need a good opposition, but Corbyn and his ghastly team that includes people like Abbot, are never going to win over the general public and they all have an unrealistic view of the world.

UKIP are probably finished. Many senior party members failed to show any real degree of professionalism and when Farage left, he took the charisma with him.

The Democrats did themselves so much damage when they got into bed with the Tories, they may never recover.

And finally, May and Co, have some strange ideas, like reviving fox hunting, introducing a death tax and show little concern for anyone at the bottom of the food chain in the UK. The mystery is why they want to keep providing enormous levels of overseas aid when it should be spent here.

Maybe I should try selling my vote. Does anyone know if it's legal to do so?

It is my understanding that only MPs and Congressmen are allowed to so. Ordinary citizen voters are held to higher moral standards.
