I have noticed a trend in BBC TV News in particular breakfast TV and now local news, for the lowering of the table. This presents a wonderful view of the legs of some of our lovely local news ladies.

This phenomena started on BBC Midlands a month or so back and I noticed when visiting Leeds recently that their local news is also 'low table' style. Has this welcome trend spread elsewhere?

Sadly the Beebs policy in the NW is to employ the most unusual looking people, especially in the mornings. Not Quite ugly, but heaven knows they could do better, at least drag a brush through their hair or something?

I have noticed that in the last decade they've a very sensitive female camera attitude, cutting away when some one stands or crafty placing of props in their dramas. Where it comes to sport, it's impossible to watch a players stance and feet on wimbledon (Aaaah .. . i do miss the pleated skirts of the Wimbledon of old.. . .)

I noticed that all female presenters have to wear seriously high heels, including morning news presenters, even if they make not look appropriate in them.

Still I'm not complaining

Thankfully it is all too prevalent in Yorkshire................wonderful

It would be nice if the Presenters could give a quick flash of some stocking tops on breakfast TV, now that would send me to work with a smile on my face but then again I would want to stay at home and watch the rest of the show. I think I may have just thought up a ratings winner. Take note BBC and ITV.

Take a look at Holly Willoughby's thread. She is well known for wearing hold ups and flashing her stocking tops on TV in the daytime.

Now I am not one to spend hours (or in fact any time at all) watching breakfast news in case one of the presenters provides a little flash, life is too short but I did see this and was intrigued.

I am very partial to Susanna Reid (especially after her Oscar dress a few year's back) but I've come to see Sian Williams in a new light after this one photo. Silly I know - but then again I'm not picky....
