This will abate as transistors reach the size of an atom - but quantum computers will be more viable by then, and they're REALLY going to change things.

There's a theory we can drag a large comet or asteroid into Earths orbit. Over 10's of millions of years the gravity push could slowly move the Earth away from the Sun so we always stay in the Goldilocks zone. Of course Mars might get in the way.
