Beutelwolf is the German word for the (now extinct) Tasmanian Tiger. Literally it means bag-wolf (marsupials are Beuteltiere in German, bag-animals), and both the fate of that creature as well as the oddness of its German name I found somewhat appealing.

I know my nickname maybe an enigma

But it comes from a password to my very first modem back in 2000

The password still falls naturally to me, because of the many times I have used it to logon to the very early Internet.

Also, it is very distinct too - only difficault for other's to spell correctly - so by inserting an 'e' I got my 'second' nickname - dex

I used to like Michael Savage when he was speaking sanity.The number comes from the AM station he was on,now I wish I could change it!

On attachment at Fort Bragg in 1980 I served under a great US Colonel, who is a legend in Airborne Forces on both sides of the Atlantic, the late and much missed Charlie Beckwith, he having been attached to the British Army and knowing British slang christened me Rupertramjet after a cartoon character of the time Roger Ramjet. A Rupert is derogatory British Army slang for a young officer, usually a second lieutenant, It stuck and as a tribute to one of Americas finest soldiers and military leaders I am proud to use it.

I play in a 50's garage band and two songs we always get asked to play at gigs are La Bamba and Chantilly Lace. Many years ago we were rehearsing for a wedding and my daughter said, 'sing the loosey goosey song daddy' and the other guys in the band started calling me Loosegoose. It just stuck
