Here's something a little unique to us

walk into any fish and chip shop and ask for a hamburger with the lot and there will be beetroot in it
I can eat it, but prefer it without beetroot.
Looking at this picture I kept seeing something amiss about this hamburger,
Two things , 1st it is a preformed beef patty so it probably has pink slime in it as an additive and they use pink slime the world over,
2nd and most importantly there is only one patty WTF One patty
How can you have a burger with everything without 2 patties , also where's the cheese

Apparently only in OZ

We have a wide variety of fine beers, no need to drink that CUB dishwater. Speaking for myself I drink James Brown Belgian Brown Ale, Voodoo Baltic Porter and Growler American Brown Ale from Two Brothers Brewery and Smoked Porter from Feral Brewing Co.
I don't mind Two Birds and the Yaks either.

I remember my first ever trip to American in 1980, walking into a diner and ordering a cheeseburger and fries. American hamburgers are indeed a unique culinary experience. Really nice, but do you really think it's healthy for human beings to eat that much in one sitting. Christ, it's no wonder you're all obese!

I like James Boags premium lager. I know the die hard beer drinkers will say "ewwww a lager!" But when it's really hot, stouts and ales don't sit too well so an ice cold lager hits the spot.

I rarely drink beer. During the seventies Boags was all you could get on tap in the majority of pubs here.

Nor do I drink cider, however during a trip to Hobart in January a girlfriend bought some strawberry infused cider at Mona, which was something else again. At the time they weren't bottling it. Hopefully after the success of their 'Moo Brew' they'll get onto it.

At least there's alternatives.

People tasting wine often spit it out. They are not drinking.

They may choose to spit because they're driving, or because they want to taste a number of different wines and don't want their ability to taste/judge/discern later wines affected by the alcohol from earlier ones.

For such people wine is about taste rather than its alcoholic effect. That may also be the approach they take even on other occasions when they are swallowing/drinking.
