The wife knows about it - she's not keen on porn, but she accepts that it's what blokes do. That's not the problem.

How the hell do you get rid of it all, without having to admit the unadmittable - that you've been a serial porn collector/horder for most of your life?

For a start, don't get rid of it!! If you have material dating that far back then its worth something...try putting a few things on eBay/Gumtree...you could get a nice surprise mate!

I had a buddy that would bring over his box of pornos when the GF visited. After he moved out of the dorms I think his old suite mates took them.

When the tenant in my family's rental house moved out, Boy did I find a trove of PB, Oui, and PH mags. Me and a neighbor boy made a big display of taking them to a burn pile nearby, but in fact we only burned the ones we didn't want. The rest were secretly moved out to our fort in the nearby woods. After a couple of weeks of rain and bugs, I guess you could say Mother Nature disposed of them.

My mum found my second stash of mags and I was basically told, either they went or I did (must have been 17 at the time). I was told to take them out back and burn them at the bottom of the garden before my dad got home.
Well being an idiot, I didn't try and burn them page by page or mag by mag, I put them in a metal bin (the indoor bedroom type) folded them all in and then tried to set it on fire with a box of matches.
Needless to say they weren't burning that day, but my panic level was increasing dad was home soon and I was about to be beaten and homeless. I had to get rid of them! I ran into the house got a bucket of water doused them, flung them in a sack and cycled to the local tip.
I threw that bloody sack as far away as I possibly could and it was only when I got home I realised that I could have taken them anywhere and who would have known?

There used to be a stall in the Sunday market where i lived that would buy second hand mags . What we sold we used to buy other mags and if the porn fairy ever appeared it was like having money in the bank .

This brings back many memories.

As I outlined in another thread, I hid my - sizeable - collection of grot mags in old childrens board games that I never played, and that lived in the cupboards in my bedroom at my parents house. After university I finally moved away, but I kept my collection - my parents had no use for my room, so they never bothered to change it, and one the highlights of my trips home was the delights of a J Arthur to some of my childhood porn.

And this continued for many years. By now I was married, but a weekend back to see the folks without the Mrs would always be a highlight of my calendar and an opportunity to once again re-acqaint myself with some of my vintage smut.

Unfortunately my Dad died, and about twelve months later, my Mum expressed an interest in moving somewhere smaller. At this time I was living with Mrs. Donut in a small flat in Bristol where there were no hiding places, so it became apparent that it was time to finally say goodbye to my many Mayfairs, Escorts, Penthouses and CLubs from the good old 1980s.

I arranged to go and see Mum for the weekend without Mrs. D. and took a large bag with me. On the Friday night my penultimate wank with my mags, and on the Saturday a very emotional final time with the magazines that had sustained me for, in many cases over twenty years.

After finishing, my mags were loaded into the bag, and I snook out, putting the mags in the boot of my car, for later disposal. As I went through my cupboards, I found some old school stuff that I didn't want and that would again be embarrassing if it was to reappear (albeit in a very different way to my porn!) so that joined my mags in the bag as well.

Sunday evening and I left Mums'. After half an hour on the motorway I got off at a random junction, and to my delight soon found a large lay by which had a couple of litter bins, and I effectively filled them with my magazine collection. It was a sad moment when I drove away, but I hoped being near the motorway maybe a lorry driver would find it and my mags would enjoy a short second life.

Anyway, I got home safely, Mrs D. was pleased to see me home and life returned to normal. However, I'm at work on Friday and I receive a message from my Mum asking me to call here - nothing urgent - and so at lunchtime I call her.

I nearly died. She had received a call from the police as apparently some 'stuff' (her words) had been found with my name on and they wanted to know if I wanted it back! I asked for more details, but she said that it was some old school stuff and the 5-0 had contacted my school and they had given them my Mum's details.

I said I didn't want any of it back, but I often wonder if the plod actually told her what they found!!!

In the corner of a farmer's field, beneath some dry stone wall slabs , near to Bakewell in Derbyshire, is the wrapped in plastic stash of about 20 magazines from 1985. I was staying at a B&B in Hathersage whilst working away and in my free time had bought a job lot from a local Private shop. Not wanting to leave them for the perusal of the guest house proprietor ( a gorgeous 30 something Sigourney Weaver lookalike) I decided to put them in my car and find somewhere to hide them on my way home. Eventually I was traveling through farming country and stopped at a secluded spot to hide my stash. Trouble is it has been 30 years since I travelled that way and all the fields and stone walls look much the same as one another. Lost forever? Or a lucky farmer has discovered them.
I also had several briefcases that I swopped between during my work and had a couple of Rodox and Whitehouse mags that ended up inside one such case. That case was kept in an upstairs flat above a shop I was renting. Unfortunately I let the shop go and forgot about my stuff in the flat. I just hope that whoever became the next tenant just got rid of the rubbish I left and didn't break open the briefcase(which had a combination lock on it).

When I moved from DC to Savannah 13 years ago, I sold a lot of my old Playboys on Craigslist. But a better story comes from my early teenage years in the 60's. I was playing wiffle ball with a friend in my back yard when I hit one foul that wound up in some overgrowth in an area between our yard and the neighbor's yard. I went to get it, and found several men's mags of the time in a plastic bag hidden in some vines. Were they my older brother's? My father's? I looked at them, put them back, and though I kept an eye on the area whenever I could, I never saw either of them go there to get them out.

A few years ago, I moved from my apartment to another property. Since my parents would be helping with the move, I had to be clever about my stash. A left of couple of boxes in a private storage locker and told the landlord I would pick them up after I was moved into the new property. However, I had a couple of boxes of VHS cassettes that I wasn't watching anymore that I had to get rid of, and I didn't have any room for them in the storage locker. Fortunately, I was working a project; to get to the office, I had to pass an adult bookstore (which was in a converted house). So I took those boxes and deposited them in front of the adult bookstore in the hopes that they would be resold. I doubt those cassettes wound up being of any value, as it wound up raining that morning.
