In fact, back in the day when we were buying and reading magazines, it was not uncommon to buy Playboy to read articles or interviews. Other magazines were available that contained only nude photography. Those models weren't as hot as the Playmates, but neither were most of the broads we were humping.

I did. As a matter of fact, I subscribed to Playboy. The other magazine I subscribed to at the time was Newsweek. I took me about 3 hours to go through an issue of Playboy.

The number of pages devoted to actual female nudes was very small. There were three pictorials per issue, and this was maybe 15 pages out of the total of 75-80 pages. The rest was articles and cartoons.

At the time there much more explicit mags on sale: Hustler , Club, High Society, Swank, Velvet etc. that were far more explicit and cover to cover pussy.

Agreed. At one time Playboy had magnificent articles, interviews, and cartoons from top notch artists. Then that all seemed to go to hell as well.

I don't know why I have that feeling that the sweet taste of Playboy mag's was in its 60s, 70s, & 80s ... since 2000s & above i feel it's not the same, well , here is another legend we are living with memories from its lovely past.
