Default Re: Being a Wise Investor.

Stock market manipulation has been going on since stock markets were invented. It happens in all sectors at all times. So what does this have to do with being a wise investor? Whether markets are up or down who makes money? Insurance companies, utilities, banks and agriculture. Instead of buying their common shares, which are traded through exchanges and more easily manipulated, buy preferred shares. They are more expensive, non-voting and less likely to appreciate but they guarantee a return and are first in line to be paid. Instead of investing in mutual funds invest in the fund manager. They always take care of themselves before any one else. Borrow money from the bank to buy the preferred shares. The interest on the loan is tax deductible, the loan is low risk and you are using the banks money to make money. Now you are playing their game but by your rules, they hate that. Good Luck.

Well, it sounds like you know what you're doing and maybe things will work out the best for you. I guess, personally, I don't trust the bankers any longer enough to give them a dime. David Stockman seemed pretty clear the banksters are now only waiting to get a few more rubes (his term) into the market before they force another collapse.

Good luck yourself.
