A girl I was keen on went to do the entrance exams for a music scholarship to Oxford University. Part of the test was "name the piece from the score". They used this one - the First Movement of Beethoven's Symphony No.3 (Eroica) - except they left off the distinctive two opening chords, the sods. She went to Manchester..
