My dad grew a moustache in the late 60s. Mom didn't like men with facial hair and after 6 months, he shaved it off. I've had a beard for close to 25 years and mom was always on me to shave it off. I always refused, mostly because I don't like to shave.

Mom's been gone for over two years now and I miss her mild nagging about my beard.

She was partially right with this one. Washing whites with whites does keep the whites whiter.

But I'm a lazy bachelor so any marks that are left over on my white laundry from a wash I, naturally

, blame on defects with the drier.
