The statue of Eros in Piccadilly Circus is not Eros and used to have an arrow but it kept being stolen so they gave up and left it .
Despite what you might think and this is every way down to the laziness of Michael Jackson, Peter Pan lived in Never Never Land and NOT Neverland. Winnie the Pooh is an English creation not American and thanks to Disney completely destroyed the original story by adding a bloody gopher in the cartoon (which also explains why he says "I'm not in the book you know!" |

Here is one that might be coming true
Some time ago I read somewhere about a prophecy that says after the eclipse there will be 2 hurricanes followed by 3 earthquakes.
Ok, it's after the eclipse and we have 2 hurricanes, but this just happened and made me remember that prophecy: http://abcnews.go.com/International/...ry?id=49695667 Hm. We are just 2 earthquakes away from a very unlikely prophecy. Google "2 hurricanes and 3 earthquakes" Now, I know it can be said by the nay-saying pooh-pooers (or is it pooh-pooing nay-sayers?, anyway, you know who you are), that hurricanes are common this time of year and earthquakes happen all the time, which is true; however it is the magnitude of them and also their closeness in geography and especially their proximity in time that is impressive in reference to said prophecy. |
