Attention: There is a prevalent email scam happening everywhere where the sender claims to have a password to a site and demands money in some form. Ignore it, do not respond and at most change passwords on any sites you frequent.

Effective immediately, moving or animated GIFs are not allowed in signatures. If your signature has one, please remove or replace it asap. Staff will remove them as and when we see them without notice.

Sincerest apologies to everyone for the recent blackout. VEF and several of our sister forums had a major server malfunction. The database index is being rebuilt from scratch and may take at least several days to be fully restored. Expect major weirdness and lots of glitches in the meantime. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Unfortunately it seems that all of the posts made from the 13th March until the crash are permanently lost, please feel free to re-post any such material, apologies for this.

Don't get me wrong, I would put Master of Puppets and Ride The Lightning up there with the best albums ever, but given the length of their career and the amount of crap they have produced, their legacy overall is hyped far beyond what it deserves. First three albums were solid, Justice was mediocre beyond a couple great songs, and the Black Album was not any better. Everything after that ranges from lackluster to complete shit. __________________ Daydreaming keeps the misanthropy away. Love the country, hate the government. Love the planet, hate the people.
