Default The first time you got turned on by lesbian sex

Hi guys

I am curious to hear about your first first time that you got turned on by lesbian sex or other important moments you realized that is hot to see women having sex together. And what were your feelings at the time? Did you think is was naughty or abnormal, but at the same time exciting? Did you know anything about homosexuality.

Nowadays in times of the internet it is so easy to get every kind of porn just by simple klick, but in the times of "vintage erotica", it was different. Of course in the early days of erotic photography at the end of the 19th century you already had a fair amount of lesbian photography, but after the second war with classic "gentlemen's magazine" like playboy and penthouse the lesbian erotica had a slow start.

Of course the attitude towards homosexuality has changed a lot. Sex between people of the same has been acceptable and a lot of countries have even opened mariage for same-sex-couples. However the big question is, if the lesbian erotica we like so much has anything to do at all with tolerance and gay liberation. Or was it even a bigger thrill, when it was more or less illegal. And it is even something for traditional straight men to enjoy watching lesbian sex.

I am curious to hear about your experiences and ideas!

To say the truth I don't know exactly when I first saw lesbian sex and if I like it. As a child in the Netherlands there two weekly where I could see erotic pictures. Both started as normal family magazines but evolved into men's magazine that tried to imitate the likes of Playboy a little bit.

The first was called Panorama and I saw it every week at my grandmother's place, because my youngest uncle had a subscription. Now and then they had some very nice pictures of nude women, but not every week. Showing naked girls seemed to be just a trick to sell the magazine, and not a part of their mission.
In this respect "Nieuwe Revu" was better. Every week they had two pages of erotic photography often very exciting girls with big tits and a couple of times they showed naked men - to attract gay readers too? Although the Netherlands was quite progressive with regard to gay liberation, Nieuwe Revu never showed action, let alone lesbian action. I do remember a pictorial of two women whe showed there naked butts next to each other. There was definitely a lesbian thrill in that.

Default My first lesbian pictorial from Penthouse

If there was one magazine that opened my eyes for the delight of lesbian erotica it was definitely Penthouse. It was in my early days at college when we were a group of students and one of them had an issue of Penthouse with a lesbian pictorial. The funny thing was that I was just out as a gay man, while the others were official straight. But I had the impression that I was the one who liked it best.

It was through the VEF that I have finally found back the pictorial. It is called "The waiting game", but here is the Spanish version "El juego de la espera". I have always understood it is about two women who are waiting for their men, but they are so excited that they start to have sex together.

Default The waiting game again

These are photos from the website release. They are so phantastic, that they still turn me. It is nice that there is also a picture of them kissing. I love two girls kissing! However when I saw this pictorial for the first time the photo that was most exciting me, was the one where they are touching each other pussies. I had never seen such a thing. You don't see their faces, not even their tits, but just their wide open pussies!

I once heard an interview with Bob Guiccione, where he seemed to be quite proud that one of the achievements of Penthouse was that it showed lesbian sex. I was probably meant in relationship to its great contender Playboy. But I do think that Penthouse showed many men how exciting lesbian sex can be.

In the meantime I know that Penthouse had already gone a long way with regard to lesbian erotica and here it has reached perfection. The three things I like best in the Penthouse lesbian are;

1) The girls look like ladies and not like cheap sluts. Of course they have big tits and they show it all - including spreading their pussies. But still you could imagine to take them to the theatre or a restaurant or introduce them to you parents.
2) They really enjoy the lesbian action. Nothing is worse than when you have the feeling they do it just for the money or when it is just posing not real sex. I love the expression of pure lust on their face when they lie on each other.
3) They like men too! With all the deep satisfaction they get from girl-to-girl sex never for a moment you get they feeling that they are real lesbians in the sense that they are attracted to women only and not to men at all. When they spread their pussies it is not just for the other girl but also for your eyes to watch and your cock to enter!

Default My first Playboy pictorial with a lesbian touch

I knew Playboy before I ever so Penthouse. And to tell the truth since I discovered Penthouse I was that interested in Playboy anymore. Only recently - through the VEF - I have found out that Playboy was not that bad after all. The girls were really hot, but what was missing was the action. Especially the lesbian action. I believe in some European editions they had some lesbian pictorial now and then, but it looked af Playboy was not really into it.

This is not a real lesbian pictorial too, but I do think it has a lesbian touch in it. And before I saw the real stuff it was probably the most lesbian pictures that I had seen so far. I don't know when and where I saw it for the first time, but boy, I thought it was exciting. Hugh Hefner was 51 at the time and quite an attractive man in the best years. And here is celebrating a party with eight naked girls all for himself. In most of the pictures it is just girls being naked together, but in the last picture they do seem to show some lesbian interest in each others tits!

I didn't realise what lesbianism was till I was in my teens but during the sixties and early seventies I became curious about certain scenes in films that caused an arousal in my preteen cock. The first was Susannah York being fingered and kissed in The Killing Of Sister George, plus in the version I saw Beryl Reid gave her a fanny tonguing. The second was Ingrid Pitt snogging Madeline Smith in the Vampire Lovers and when she caressed her tits and sucked on them , I nearly blew a boy wad into my short trousers. Normally mum would switch the TV over when sex stuff was on but she didn't think that seeing two women together would affect me or my sister, as we watched it. I think that she also had a bit of a thing for lez affairs.
As I have mentioned in other threads that I had come home early from school once and seen mum and my 16 yr old cousin virtually naked in mum's bed, plus the sexual antics mum and her best friend got up to for 20 years or more also got me curious. I occasionally stayed off school and my mum and her friend would have regular coffee mornings but sometimes as I was playing upstairs in my room I would hear the sound of kissing, and I peeped in on them a couple of times and saw mum had her hand up her friends dress, or skirt, and lipstick would be smeared across her friend's bosom as her blouse or dress would be partly undone. I heard her friend say "I love you" on numerous occasions when I was just out of sight. Both were not in the happiest relationships with their men so I think they sought succour in each other.

The first time I saw lesbian sex was on Mulholland Drive (2001). Not quite a "vintage" era but I was a kid without internet access who grew up in a religious household. Naturally I thought it was wrong and it didn't turn me on at all. In fact I actually looked away even though I was alone. Laura Harring was so hot in that movie though. Total latina knockout.

Now when I see that scene I can barely stop myself. Lesbian sex, especially kissing, turns me on more than most things. The funny thing is I'm religious again after being atheist for a long time, and the "wrongness" of girls doing girls just makes it hotter for me, especially in a threesome/polyamorous context. It's like the idea that they're being bisexual just for you makes you feel more masculine, whether it's fantasy or reality. I'm sure others can relate.

Default Lesbian liberation vs lesbian porn

It is interesting that the 1970s were both the years when the gay & lesbian liberation movement started and when magazines like Penthouse discover lesbian sex as a hot item.

The question is if there is any link between. Nowadays the so-called Stone Walls riots in New York 1969 are considered as the start of the modern gay movement, although probably at the time few people cared about it. At the time it was mostly a movement of gay men, who were fighting for their rights to love and have sex with other men. Women who were into other women first played a rather secondary role.

However for me it was mostly a call for pity and understanding. You felt sympathy for them - or not - but it had nothing to do with lust.

Default Lesbians against lesbian porn?

However there was an enormous difference between the attitude of gay men and lesbian women. For gays coming out could also mean in the entry into a realm of lust. At least in the big gay centers gay life looked like a paradise of lust with bars, baths and cruising areas. And gays had their own porn and loved it at least at much as straight men loved theirs.

But what about the lesbian women? At least the prominent activists seemed not to care about sex at all. The most prominent feminist activist in Germany started a campaign Alice Schwarzer started a campaign against porn. Only very late Schwarzer came out as a lesbian.

But why didn't lesbian like porn? Wouldn't it be normally that they would love the pictures of nude women and women having sex with other women.

I understand completely what you mean. I think a lot of men feel the same.
