Default Whatever Happened to Nancy Suiter?

http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/t73...cy-suiter.html

Probably one of the most beautiful porn actresses ever. Nancy Suiter has a new kind of beauty. There's sex appeal but it's understated, subtle.

Disappeared in the mid / end 80's
Nancy Suiter, a true mystery.... Does anyone know what happened to Nancy?

The only information about Nancy is about the IMDb mini biography: (unofficial)

Nancy Suiter was a phenomenon in the porn industry. She burst onto the scene in a small part in The Ecstasy Girls (1979), then burned up the screen over the next few years before disappearing. She was a petite but absolutely gorgeous blonde, who put everything she had--and then some--into a scene, and she quickly amassed legions of fans. Then, almost as quickly as she came into the business, she left it. Rumors have circulated for years that she married a multi-millionaire who insisted that she leave the business, other rumors say that she got involved with heroin and cocaine, fell in with the wrong crowd, descended into prostitution and overdosed, others that she was either killed in an accident or murdered by a boyfriend/lover/pimp. Since no one knew much about her when she got into the business, and she apparently told co-workers nothing about herself, her fate will no doubt remain a mystery. A shame, as she was a breath of fresh air in an increasingly stale business.

The story I heard was the variation of the first one but the additional details were that the fiance was connected with big oil or some other large scale industry and the family was "old money" and was well established and didn't want the controversy. As to whether she did ultimately get married, I don't know. I would like to think that she did and disappeared into the obscurity of a pampered life.

In the October 1978 issue of Oui, it is said that 19-year-old Nancy lived in Playa del Rey, California.
His disappearance remains a mystery.

Default Nancy joined "Dallas" ;)

Josh Alan Friedman back in 2001 gave this update on Nancy - based on early 80's info - which was published on the now defunct lukeford.com site. It kind of jives with what I had heard about marrying into an old money oil family. (Jamie Gillis said much the same thing when he was asked about Nancy)

"Renowned Screw columnist and author Josh Alan Friedman writes 5/22/01:

Dear Luke,

You're the third fellow to email me trying to locate Nancy Suiter. What this derives from is a new biography of Terry Southern (A Grand Guy: The Art and Life of Terry Southern, by Lee Hill, Harper Collins). Around 20 years ago, Terry expressed a keen desire to locate Nancy, and since I was a Screw editor, I set out on an investigative search. She had changed her name and retired into the protective arms of some business tycoon, I was told (rancher, oilman or something), who threatened to "punch out" anyone who tried to lure her back into the life. Her agent told me the married couple had even rejected small offers for her to appear in several Hollywood A-list films. But no matter, for Terry and I came across some then-recent photos of Nancy, displaying an overworked, no-longer tight snatch, and his interest began to fizzle."

That's right,, there's an article on Nancy Suiter in lukeisback. If Nancy suiter is still living somewhere today, she must be 60 years old now.
http://www.lukeisback.com/stars/star...cy_suiter.html

Quote:

"...A beautiful young girl came to Hollywood to seek her fortune in the movies. Nobody knows what her background was... She had the face of an angel, the body of a wildcat, and the willingness to use both to get where she wanted. This she did, achieving the status of top nude model (Genesis 10/78) and erotic-movie star. Then she disappeared, without a trace." (Genesis 12/79)

Who? Nancy Suiter.

In her first starring role, in Taxi Girls, Nancy paired with such studs as John Holmes, Jamie Gillis, and Jack Wrangler. "Her ability to match such a meaty lineup stroke for stroke, as well as to convincingly act the role of a woman who was a housewife, a cab- driving hooker, and a stand-up nightclub comedienne, seemed to herald the advent of a major new erotic film star." (Genesis 12/79)

Jaacov Jaacovi produced and directed 1979's Taxi Girls which starred Suiter, Serena and Nancy Hoffman. "The police pick up all the hookers on Hollywood Boulevard and stick eight of them in one cell together. Within moments, they have snagged a cop and given him the business, but one of them has figured a better way to do it. If they owned taxis, they could get all the male customers they want without walking the streets and provide both transportation and copulation. The premise is that six women cannot only service one man better than two, but they can make him do things he wouldn't ordinarily do - like give them a loan to start their taxi business, or sell them taxis cheap...One customer who hasn't the money to pay the driver is given an inflatable doll which he obligingly f---s in the back seat." (Bob Rimmer, X-Rated Videotape Guide p.259)

Nancy also appears in 800 Fantasy Lane and The Ecstasy Girls.

Jamie Gillis says that Nancy Suiter left porn quickly to marry a rich man. Others say she was forced into white slavery in Japan.

Nick writes: In "A Grand Guy," a bio of Terry Southern, a porn aficionado and famous as the author of Candy and Blue Movie, it is said that in the early 80s he asked Josh Alan Freidman, then the editor of High Times (and the son of famous writer Bruce Jay Friedman and later a writer in his own right -- Tales of Times Square) to track her down. The book says Josh found her married to a rich rancher.

Renowned Screw columnist and author Josh Alan Friedman writes 5/22/01:

(By the way, I've edited a brand new collection of (posthumous) stories called Now Dig This: the Unspeakable Writings of Terry Southern, due out from Atlantic/Grove next month.) And that's the whole story.

Dianna writes: In 1978, I interviewed Nancy Suiter for a magazine called "Foxette" published by Parliament News. My boss at American Art Enterprises, Jerry Pecoraro, knew from the moment he saw her that she would be a major porn star. What I remember is that she was a true natural beauty, no make-up or plastic boobs needed, and that she told me she preferred men with big bellies, like stereotypical Southern sheriffs. And so sweet! We were the same age, and ran around the art department giggling and having fun as I interviewed her...

Default Alive and well per the Rialto Report

For Rialto's most recent report on Jaacov Jaacovi the Rialto folks attempted to contact Nancy for comment:

"Nancy Suiter left the adult industry shortly after appearing in ‘Taxi Girls’, making only three other feature films and a small handful of loops. She was contacted for this piece, but declined to be interviewed."

Glad to hear she is OK but it seems like she wants no part in discussing her past at least at this juncture.
