Loaded with comedy and satire. They were like performance art, touring with NIN. Great stage show as well. Horror metal. After that album....the originality wore off. Then later as a solo artist, "it" became what you posted. I don't know why but I can't stand Glen Danzig. Had no problem with him in the Misfits though. Also never understood any attraction musically to John Cougar, or Dave Mathews. Nothing. |

Sorry! For me Sgt Pepper is simply pretentious twaddle.

The Boss helped lift the seventies out of the mire it was sinking into. Ok, coupla crap albums to begin with, I admit. But Born To Run, Darkness, The River. Classics.

Admired the Beatles-briefly: Revolver, Rubber Soul. Hated SGt Pepper, but redeemed themselves towards the end. Hate most of McCartney's stuff with Wings. Plus his solo work. None of the Beatles shone, though, solo wise. Lennon went into some kind of pseudo-cosmic downfall with Yoko. And why the fuss about Imagine being so wonderful? Here we have one of the richest, most arrogant people on the planet singing about how great it would be if we all had sod all. Yea. Right!!!

I had forgotten about Twisted Sister, they were so bad they were brilliant. Dee Snider is a great frontman. I've just downloaded "We're Not Gonna Take It" from itunes.
