I guess I'm a hypocrite since I've oogled countless other men's daughters in porn but I believe I would do everything in my power to stop my daughter from making such a huge mistake, like reminding her how many pornstars have died from disease and drugs

It stands to reason that if you found out about it in a video/book store or by surfing, there was something wrong in the first place. I'd try my best to be as open minded with my kids as possible within reason. Now with porn that's easy to say but if you were good to your kids and did a good job of teaching them right and wrong, (and drugs aren't involved,) it is far easier to trust them with their decisions.

As I love porn as much as any one else here I would be a Hypocrite to say no way. I dont have a Daughther but would not want my girl involved. However If I did I would tell her be careful, enjoy herself and try and get her out of it.

If she wanted to do it and she's over 18 I wouldn't be able to stop her. The worst I could do then would be to bar her from the house, which wouldn't really be the act of a loving parent.

Plenty of young women go into porn stay for a couple of months, then get out: I'd even imagine they're the majority.

And you can't judge porn by its worst manifestations: would you mind her doing stuff for Anna Span, say? There are plenty of ethical porn companies around. The most trouble she'd get then is from anti porners who think she should be punished for her transgression - losing a job, say, or her children, if her past is exposed.

I wouldn't like her shagging that greasy mechanic at the end of our road, though: and, seriously, plenty of women get into bad trouble through bad relationships, or marriages: Linda Lovelace's story is a better argument against marriage than it is against porn.
