One of the best failures on a film was shown by Denis in his show "It'll Be Alright On the Night". You see a world war 2 plane flying amongst the clouds and the pilot looking around when suddenly a shadow appears and the director yells out "Hey! who the hell is walking across the sky!" Brilliant stuff and Denis was one very clever man writing a lot of scripts for comedy shows with his writing partner Frank Muir.

I have only just discovered that NASA scientist Bradford A. Smith passed away on July 3rd, aged 86.

He was involved in the Mariner and Viking missions to Mars, the Voyager missions and other international space projects.
