I'm a Southampton fan.
After all the crap we've had to put up with over the last 5 years or so (relegation, twice, administration), I'm actually enjoying my football again. We actually win more than we lose, score lots of goals, etc. Going to Wembley was unthinkable this time last year. (Nearly didn't have a club to support) To go there and actually see my team win something (OK, I know it was 'only' the JPT, but that didn't matter to me or the other 55,000 Saints fans there last week.) |

Looks like Inter are now going through, leading CSKA Moscow by 1-0 now, 2-0 on aggregate. I cannot see Moscow scoring 3 times in 45 mins. I wonder who will join them later? I hope it will be my team Barca, but if they are going out at least it will be to another footballing side. Better to lose to a team that plays football, rather than a team like Chelsea that played anti-football a lot of their champions league games.

I'm here already - mentally I mean. Arsenal FC will definitely fight against the odds tonight, I'm sure. Hope to see another world class performance from both clubs.
That said, don't forget the big match - Thursday evening 10 ish my time.

Lionel Messi
Just seen Messi score his fourth, Wow! One hell of a player. Arsenal have to hold their hands up and say they were beaten by a better team tonight.
I think Rooney can hold his own against anyone, but Messi has been different class over the two legs, if he is allowed to play that way for Argentina then an interesting World Cup beckons. He's only 22! Can't see past Barcelona for the Champions Cup.

I think tonight is not the best match of Barça, but if you have a Messi in your team, need something else?
Interesting to see Samu against Barça in the semis. He always plays very good against her old teams. "Visca el Barça!" and Salut !

Yes eto'o against his old club should be interesting. Having watched Inter play against Moscow earlier and Chelsea earlier in the cup I think they will do well at the San Siro against Barca but I think at Camp Nou Barca will be much the better side, much like tonight. I would expect Barca to go through 2-1 on aggregate against Inter.

I hope there will be more goals. How about a 5-3 ? (I think there are a lot of killers in both teams, Messi, Ibra, Eto'o, Milito, Pedro, Sneijder, .... )

I just think a semi-final is a lot more closely contested because no one wants to lose one step before making it to the final. I mean if you get to the final and lose you still got to the final, your fans got a day out to remember and you get a medal, no one remembers the semi-final losing teams and they dont go down in the record book.
There is the possibility of goals from both sides, hopefully they will both play their style and goals will come, I just see a chess game because of the want to at least reach the final. |

I agree. A chess match between Pep and Mou one more time.

Well they could be facing each other next season in La Liga if some reports are to be believed. As long as its a good game and as long as Barca win I dont care about how many goals are scored. If they get past Inter, and they should do, then any of the other teams they could face are easily beatable. Man United, Bayern Munich, Lyon and Bordeaux are all going to be running scared of Barca after tonight and all those teams will need a large slice of luck if they facr Barca in the final.
