Okay just what the hell is "recreational" grieving Chris old boy?????I mean if some one dies that a person has an emotional attachment too, no matter how it has happened the grief is real to that person.

The term recreational grieving first came to prominence in this country when princess Diana died .
Us Brit's usually just don't behave in such a manner . Stiff upper lip and all that . |

While excessive displays of grief seem very un-british it did help unleash some real displays of emotion as a consequence. I call to mind the long awaited and much overdue death of Thatcher and one of the proudest moments of our nation as they expressed themselves with "Ding dong, the witch is dead".
