Can anyone give views on foot fetish trends in 70s and 80s....was it not the fetish with people or was it too bizzare for porn producers...these days every porn production has foot fetish content and almost every pornstar does foot fetish videos or cams etc

In 1976, director Alex De Renzy proposed a flick called Long Jane Silver, featuring Joan Beattie as the main character. Beattie, born without one of her legs, did several other XXX films during the 70s 'till the mid-80s.
Maybe the unfoot fetish was more popular back then.

Strange...because pornstars in those days had prettier feet...now a days girls have weird feet...moreover pedicures evolved as old as civilization...I think it has to do something with consumer intents...probably the audience was not ready to consume such fetishes or may be the pornstars were shy and not confident about their feet....but then scat porn also existed in those days...

I think it's always been popular it was just the publishers and photographers that weren't or wanted high heels.I always thought a girl wasn't naked till she was barefooted and still do.I think the leg magazines showed them how popular bare feet were and they all started doing it then.

Very limited though but those leg magazines revealed that girls had pretty feet...somehow movie producers were not into it

When you speak about foot fetishism, is it foot only or wearing sexy stilettos too?

Because I've to say that the stilettos that were used to wear the glamour models in the 80's~90's were far more erotic than today.
But... these stilettos destroyed the form of the feet.

My guess is that there simply wasn't a big enough audience for it back then.

That's because nowadays there is the internet, and a niche audience (scattered all over the world) can be reached digitally, making it financially viable.

In fact it's the same for non-porn niche stuff.
