This is on the back cover of Richard Preston's "The Hot Zone". I don't think the book was very well done, and I've always seen Mr. King's remarks as a backhand that slipped by:

"One of the most horrifying things I've ever read. What a remarkable piece of work. - SK

William T. Close, MD (Glenn Close's father) wrote "Ebola", a far superior book.
