What has happened to the Marc Dorcel movies?

In my opinion Marc Dorcel movies have been the best adult movies around since the early 1980's. But the last year or couple of years the quality has went right down to zero. They are now producing "gonzo movies", with ugly (sorry) women, bad dressed and no plot. Why? What has happened?

I would imagine the reduction in overall quality is down to costs... Making such videos is not cheap and unfortunately any reduction in expenditure for example on standard of equipment used, cost of paying the "models" and production crews and the editing suite / facilities is likely to have a knock-on effect through to the finished product.

The internet has opened up a whole world of these videos being shared "free" with no remuneration going back to the producers - sites such as this one are a case in point.
With rising costs coupled with reduction in income there is bound to be a reduction in quality.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not having a rant against sites like this - I am after all a user here - just trying to suggest a possibly reason behind the OP's point (which I fully agree with).

Marc Dorcel, since 2015, is now targetting the women, because they're more and more to watch porn. but they expect different things : less hard, more sensuality, in some of their new videos you won't see any penetration at all.
Too much content nowadays for you guys, the growth market is women ! I know...

Dorcel still makes some quality movies too.

Like 'The Education Of a Young Maid' (Anissa Kate, Sharon Lee) or 'Soubrettes Services' (Anissa Kate, Lola Reve, Szilvia Lauren). Lots of stockings and french maids!

But you are right: there is also more and more bad quality stuff (cheap production, silicone tits, tattoos, ...)

That's sad to hear, but most modern porn is pretty crap.
I am still collecting from the classic period, and Marc Dorcel movies are always grabbed.
Obviously, they belong to the porn age you were brought up in, like music, so obviously you like them if you are my age. But, I think they are more enjoyable movies; i.e. they have some sort of a plot, they often have some humour, the sex arises, mostly, out of the situation (This is beginning to sound like a musical :-)). Some were better than others both for the story and the sex scenes, but the best had cracking sex scenes and also bits in between that you were happy to watch.

Most current porn I see is just a shag, often with violent overtones, generally with disparaged women. There's no attempt at a story. The tattoos are a turn off for me, but some people must like them, so whatever flicks your wick.

Still, time moves on, and if the current generation likes this sort of crap porn so be it. It is our mission to save all the better stuff for them when they get older, and can appreciate it.
