Not a good weekend for me...Fulham losing again...like I thought last week, this will be the trend.

QPR though...7-1 lost to WBA...relegation this season, I fear. They have been tempting fate with lower table performance for many years...going to catch up to you sometime. Anyone have any thoughts on why...doesn't McLaren have it anymore?

Fulham showed signs that if they get acclimatised, they have enough to stay up, I think - just a bit of a culture shock. The PL is way above the Championship in terms of quality both tactically and the ability of individual players.

I'm not sure McLaren ever really had it? I've heard a couple of interviews with him where he comes across as a thoroughly nice bloke who loves his football and knows a fair bit about the game. Whether he can actually manage modern day pros, as opposed to say, coaching up and coming players who want to learn, might be the real question.

Early days, just need to a climatize, but if it goes too long without a win it will be a long season, just like its going to be with the £100+ show ponies over at the OS. Really confused with MP defensive tactics, all run to the half way line when the opposition are in our half.

Mclaren is never a manager, as an assistant probably one of the best around, as he does not have to make the final decision.

Double the score from last year when we won 1-0, and Palace had a man sent off for a silly challenge on Salah. Palace sound(didn't see the game) like they have a decent side this season but two wins out of two keep Liverpool in the hunt, but early days yet for anyone to talk of title marches.

He was a wonderful manager if you look at it from a slightly perverse view

A penalty that may NOT have been given 5/10 years ago, but a Penalty that the future VAR may have conceded. Michael Oliver is a pretty astute Ref, and seems to see VAR images already in his head .

Joe Hart and Sean Dyche - a marriage made in Heaven

I did say that earlier. And I questioned Joe's flexibibity for low shots etc and proudly proclaimed that Burnley under Dyche, didn't get opponents shooting from inside the box.

Whether it's Thursday-Night Europa Footie, low Squad quality, I don't know

But Watford had one shot that beat Joe at chest-hight... from outside the box.
They had 3 shots, from inside the box.... unheard-of at Burnley.
