The announcer actually said "It's over" when Cheick hit the floor.

I've just realised something really depressing.
We haven't got a Michele Bachman or Sarah Palin in UK politics.
All our politicains are fairly bland variations of a theme the only exceptions being the old dinosaurs like Prescott and Widdecombe, both retired.
Credit to the US for at least having interesting folk trying to rule your country.

We had two women contenders once, impossible as it might sound but I believe the rather sexy Caroline Flint might have had a few followers

and Hariet Harman was once voted the sexiest MP-this is going back a few years but she could have been a pretty good opposition leader had she stood-a lot more sex appeal than Ed Millband, unless you are that way inclined of course but then it would be David.

I will concede that I doubt this country would be run by a woman ever again...but who knows??
