Some more comical interactions with law enforcement. I know police do not like to deal with these clowns especially down south as they have shown no compunction about killing any law enforcement

Years ago, when I worked in radio, we had one of those guys on a talk show on one of our stations. It's been 20 or so years, so my memory isn't 100% on it. I remember the guy was from Alaska. He said he never pays taxes. He said something like "I don't have an income, I make a living." That's why he couldn't be taxed. He didn't have a drivers license, so other people had to drive him everywhere he went. After listening to the guy for about 30 minutes, I came to the impression that, when you got right down to it, it was nothing more than a tax dodge...as others in the thread have mentioned.
What threw the whole discussion off though was that the guy said he was not a US citizen, that he had a passport from the Kingdom of Israel...or something like that...and was an ambassador from the Kingdom of Israel. He said, in reference to the current nation of Israel, "I don't know these people, they are strangers to me." It was a really odd way to put it. He, on the one hand, was claiming a passport from Israel, and on the other hand, was saying that he wasn't associated with the nation of Israel. When he did that, this being the bible belt, it threw the whole "Sovereign Citizen" discussion out the window, and became a religious debate...which I could've cared less about. From what I've read/seen/heard of these "Sovereign Citizen" people, I've never gotten the impression that they have any kind of Constitutional or Common Law or legal leg to stand on. There's nothing that any of them have ever said that has led me to believe that "Why yes, the government has overstepped it's legal bounds, and has no authority over any of us." |
