All that news about the world ending is crap. There will be no nuclear wars, or artificial plagues. The world will probably end thousands of years from now, caused by a rogue comet hitting the Earth, or an asteroid hitting us like the one that killed off the dinosaurs.

I'm a little scared that somebody puts this clock on midnight because then we have to start a nuclear war with someone. But with whom?

They're going to look bloody silly when at some future stage they have to adjust it past midnight, aren't they...and I don't recall ever hearing of then adjusting it backwards when the global security situation improved slightly-such as the signing of peace treaties, arms limitation treaties, bans on certain weapons instituted etc...
