And they do such a good job defending themselves

But fair enough. Though we're all the same, aren't we? As America is also telling other countries what to do and not to do.

The difference is that we foreign nosy bastards don't threaten to obliterate the USA if they don't do what we say.

Been niggling at me a while, but it`s just happened again and it`s actually quite annoying as the script writers on TV show yet again they aren`t in touch with reality.
On T.V, particularly in soaps (Eastenders being the biggest culprit) when a person uses their mobile phone to ring someone in their family or a close friend, the first words are always "It`s Me" or as in tonights Eastenders "It`s Mum".
This is fine if there is no reply and they`re talking to the answer service, but this happens when the two people are conversing
Do scrpit writers not put names of the people they`re close to in their phones, because everyone else in the world does, so the receiver of the call knows totally well that it`s Mum phoning !!!

Americans

They apparently came from Britain, decimated the local population, then imported negroes, who they weren't keen on, then Polish, Irish,Mexican, etc, with similar results, and now just want to shoot people, wherever, whenever, we don't care

You left out Germany, Mexico, and Japan. Fortunately, we have allowed so many people to immigrate that we can shoot most of them within our borders now.

At some time in the near future the United Nations will force us to stay home and shoot each other. Then, the rest of the world can forgo learning English and start learning Mandarin.

By shaving after you shower, your pore's open up, or should if it's a warm/hot shower, and should result in a bit closer shave. I got tired of spending a dollar, at the dollar stores, or more at super markets, for shaving cream, then watching so much of it go down the drain every time I shaved, thinking what a waste of money. I switched to a shaving soap disk and brush a couple years ago and haven't regretted the decision.

Yes, always shower before shaving. With your skin damp, add a thin layer of moisturiser (something from the Simple range is best, Bulldog is thick and can clog up the blades). A brush and soap is the best, but shaving gel if well lathered onto the skin is almost as good. I find Gillette Sensor 3 blades are the best. They're usually sold with with a plastic handle fitted but I find it best if you remove the heads and use them with the metal Sensor Excel handle (more weight) All the latest Gillette Fusion blades are hopeless. You can't angle them for the closest shave and they're impossible to use if you've got about a week's worth of growth - they just slide over the hair. Apply Bulldog moisturiser when you face is completely dry afterwards.

I had a professional hot towel shave in London in the mid 90's. It cost about £25 but it was well worth it. I wouldn't be so extravagant nowadays though.

Shaving every day, so I've decided to grow a beard. Fortunately I had one when I met my wife and she quite liked it, so no problems on that front.

Default Grrr!

Paint

I'm sure it doesn't cover like it used to. Probably they've had to take out so many ingredients because of environmental issues.

I needed four coats to do my downstairs loo and now it looks like my kitchen will also need the same number to get a good finish.

Anyone know which ones are best?
