I am pretty sure he was also in a spy series where was some sort of cyborg-esque character and had interchangeable fingers that could have various spy tools attached. It was called 'A Man Called Sloane' (Thomas R Sloane)
I also think that we should remember that poor little girl who lost her life at the Ariana Grande concert back in May, who should have celebrated her 8th birthday yesterday. RIP Safie Rousoss.

Grotbags actress Carol Lee Scott dies
Actress Carol Lee Scott, who was best known as Grotbags the witch, has died at the age of 74. She appeared in children's programmes in the 1980s and early 1990s, including Rod Hull's Emu's World. Her family confirmed the news on social media, with her niece Gina Mear writing on Facebook on Wednesday that the actress had "lost her brave fight against cancer". "To many of you she was Grotbags - a legend!" she said. "To me she was just aunty Carol. I shall miss her hugely, rest in peace Carol."

A whole generation of British School kids (myself included! ) grew up laughing at/being disturbed by her in the 80s. Mind you, for those of us who are old enough to remember Rod Hull and Emu in their pink windmill that was quite a weird show, wasn't it? I've been watching old re-runs of the UK gameshow Bullseye, and in one episode she did appear has herself for a special celebrity charity game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuAvh49BkDo This came as bit of a surprise at the time. |

Ah Mrs Grotbags! Remember her catchphrase "that's very personal!" I think I remember her appearing on Celebrity Squares with Bob Monkhouse.
