Did you know that most of what we know about Richard III is actually a lie and its based on Tudor propaganda and a lot of it is actually taken from the Shakespeare play Richard III.
The fact that he was a hunchback with a limp and a withered arm, is simply not true he also never said my kingdom my kingdom for a horse. The whole thing about him being a murderous tyrant is actually Tudor propaganda and in the same way as with Mary I ( Daughter of Henry VIII ) he was probably not as bad as he is remembered today. |

Did you know that the Seven Years war ( 1754\1756-1763 ) can be considered the first world war as it was the first war that was fought all over the world.
Of course only European powers actually fought in it. But it was the first war that actually spanned the globe. |

London, England, 26th May, 1975 and a certain daredevil motorcycle stuntman called Robert Craig 'Evel' Kineivel rode down a very long ramp and jumped over 13 buses at Wembley Stadium. He just about survived a terrible crash and then announced he would never jump again - however that was short-lived and he did indeed go on to jump his cycle again. His most famous 'jump' was the Snake River Canyon in his so-called Sky Cycle. Unfortunately the parachute deployed as it took off and caused complications and he ended up in the river but he was alive. Apparently his team deliberately made the first of three models crash just to get the press and onlookers interested and talking. One of his worst crashes was trying to jump over the fountains at Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas. He was a showman and influenced many of today's 'extreme' sportsmen including Tony Hawk the US skateboarder and many snowboarders, BMX'ers etc. His son Robbie Kineivel continued his legacy and had a few showdowns with the British motorcycle stuntman Eddie Kidd, but Kidd outdid him by jumping over the Great Wall of China.

Did you know and I only just learned this on Discovery Science channel ..... Nothing is faster than the speed of light, 186,000 miles per second, that's what I was always led to believe.
The Universe itself is expanding faster than that, that's the only thing faster than light, the way it's meant to be worded is nothing with mass can travel faster than the speed of light. So, given womens gossip has no mass, that can travel faster than light speed in theory

Here's a good bit trivia for you. Did you know that one of the backing singers for the theme to the original 80's childrens' cartoon series of 'Dangermouse' was Miriam Stockley and she also featured on the original Karl Jenkins tune that made it to No.1 in the charts called Adiemus, where most of what is sung is made up. It was also used to promote British Airways-you might recall the advert with the people on a beach that eventually make the picture of the world and then a face that winks.
