probably the best british sex movie ever made ,cool it carol ,is on talking pictures freeview 81 tonight .
set your videograms for it .
it looks very dated and low budget at first but it soon settles down into a really good little movie

A really clean hi kwolity copy was dredged up .
Not quite HD but much better than grainy washed out videos I've seen of it .

The peculiar thing about British "sex comedies" was that the things that tended to be missing from most of them were sex and comedy.

It wasn't a comedy, but "The Smashing Bird I Used to Know" has always stuck with me.
Because of Maureen Lipmann. No nudity from her, unfortunately, but she had one scene that stood out like a beacon. Acted everybody else off the film.

The first time I'd ever seen her and her scene ruined the sleaze-need that had brought me into the cinema. I though ~"Jeez, she's a serious actress"

I lost interest in the film after that, just waiting for her to return.

Over-Exposed 1977 (same film as The Session 1974 I think)
Secret Rites 1971
The Sex Victims 1973
The Over Amorous Artist 1974

The final two can be watched for free, the first two have a small fee.

Does anyone remember a film called Adult Fairy tales? Remember getting into the cinema at aged 15 to see it and being very disappointed, that's all i can remember about it though

Yes I remember seeing this in '78.I was 18..went with a friend.We were also not impressed.All I can remember is that the print used at the cinema was atrocious quality,scratched to hell!
