How Do You Read VEF Every Day?

I'm curious about how members approach VEF when they log in every day. Do you have a set procedure you use to see content, is there somewhere you go first and last?

I usually open a tab for my User CP first, then one for new posts in the last 24 hours and finally whatever interests me on the main page. I go to the last listing in New Posts to see what's been put up since my last log on and then I will go from that point forward opening tabs on what I want to go back to later.

How do you use VEF?

I generally just look at 'New Posts' and open any thead that I want to look at in a new tab and post any replies in that, then I close that tab and carry on looking through the pages of 'new posts'.

I have the auto login feature checked so that I don't actually have to log in each time. Most days I just use the pull down menu to access my subscribed threads and check out any that have new activity. They are all photo threads. My primary purpose as a VEF member is to collect pics. Every few visits I will check out the General Discussion forum and see if anything on the front page catches my eye (like this thread). I don't make it a habit to visit the discussion threads on any regular basis... except for maybe the Trump 100 Days thread. I admit that one of my guilty pleasures is watching those guys take turns being butthurt over HRC's stunning loss.

YES!

Here's how I do it:

*Firstly I too use auto-login so that I don't have to keep login in every time.
* I then make a note of today's date (which today is 5th August) and look at the posts that have been posted in the previous 24 hours (so in essence I will look at posts that go back no further then 3rd August).
* Then what I do is start at the TOP of the home page and work my way down. The categories I tend to chose are (in this order) General Discussion, Funnies, Vintage Erotica Talk, Classic Pornstars, Softcore Models, General Modern Topics, Modern Models and Modern Celebrities.
* Once I click onto each of threads in that order I use the 24 hour posting rule mentioned above.
* Sometimes, just for a change, I decide to do the whole thing in reverse-I start at the BOTTOM of the page and work my way up, starting with Modern Celebrities, then Modern Models, General Modern Topics etc.

Almost exactly as i do except i check my User CP last (often skip it).

How do you use VEF?

MaxJoker was made up a Mod not long before I was, I had to lean on him a little for advise. Taught me an important lesson for what to do as soon as a Mod logs on, goes something like this

1. Press select all
2. Press delete

I check for any important mod business first if there is such a thing,
Then answer any PM's, somedays there's none, others could be 20, depends.

After that, just go about being an ordinary member and have some fun along the way.

Just like ManofKent I'm auto-logged in but then I always start at the bottom with Modern Celebs, then Models, Classic Celebs and generally end up on GD&N. If I'm posting images (gifs or photo's) I always used to get the BB Code from IB and have IMDB links etc all saved to a Wordpad file so that I could just copy and paste because I have a bit of a problem with my paging file, and FFox used to clag up if I tried to have too many tabs open at a time. But I nearly always use the generic Image Uploader now as it is so handy and easy to use, and I don't have to have IB on a separate tab.

The only prob with starting at the bottom is that I sometimes don't have enough time to get to GD&N before bedtime (aaaaahhhhh! Well, some of us have to go to work). If that happens I'll start with GD&N next time round and work down.
