Unbelievably for me I'm having a week off it. My local has shut for a week for a refurb & none of the other pubs around me are worth visiting. They are either food focused or just full of idiots. I don't drink at home so it's tea until Sunday night when it re-opens.

Can`t say it`s my favourite tipple but Eddie (By his own admission an alcoholic Sikh) who runs the newsagents/off license was having a can for 50p deal Exactly , it`d have been insulting (To him ) not to have nabbed a couple handfuls

a glass or two of Jacobs Creek white wine, always goes down a treat at this time of night: it kind of lays the foundation to a good night's sleep.
Ordinarily I'd opt for hot drinking chocolate prior to retiring to bed for the evening; but I always associate such drinks with old age & fuddy-duddiness. So I choose to go for the more classier option - and wine is it! |
