If you think it's pointless down in Scotland, imagine what we think in the north. Until recently, there weren't enough of us to make a difference, but apparently many people think daylight savings a bad idea. We didn't know that

But I also lived in Germany for many years, which is certainly not far north. I saw no benefit, and assumed we changed clocks because everyone else did it. I'll be glad if they cancel it forever

Btw, a relative in AUS told me they have very curious time arrangements in southern states. He said there are sometimes 30 minute time differences from one place to another. I didn't call him on it and never checked, but it shows there is no shortage of cranky thinking

Also on the subject of cyclists...... if you don't want to end up like a hedgehog on the tarmac turn your sodding lights on and don't ride two abreast in the dark you dumbass twats

Who would take part in these parades anyway ? I have it on good authority that there are no gays in Russia ?
