Watching Bohemian Rhapsody.
Freddie Mercury died of AIDS? Was he a homosexual? Guess his song We Are The Champions is probably about homosexuals! Who would had thought or guessed he was a peter puffer - like Rock Hudson - no one knew he was gay until he died of AIDS! Back then men didn't come out from the closet publicly. Now many do and many of them do it for the 15 minutes of fame and to get praised for their 'courage' to come out and admit they are gay. Many of them who say they are gay are most likely not even gay. They do it for the free publicity and to make many female friends. Last edited by Reclaimedwg; February 3rd, 2019 at 06:54 AM.. |

Freddie Mercury died 24 November 1991 at age 45 due to complications from AIDS, having confirmed the day before his death that he had contracted the disease. According to Wikipedia, Freddie Mercury had a long-term relationship with Mary Austin, whom he met through guitarist Brian May. But the romantic relationship supposedly ended when Mercury told Austin of his sexuality - however both remained close friends through the years. Also in Wikipedia while some have claimed Freddie Mercury was bisexual; others state he was openly gay. Mercury was notoriously private about many aspects of his life, so it's probably best that I leave it to you to decide...

How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World
Will Toothless the dragon find true love? Will Hiccup be able to lead his people to The Hidden World and thwart off a new ...uhmmmm...sort of...villain? PRAISE: The HTTYD movies have always provided enough heart and humor to add a up to a very good movie experience, and in How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World they have not strayed from the aforementioned . Wonderful voice work by the entire cast. The message of not selfishly seeking one's own interest above other's shines through. Hat's off to the animators. They know they are showing off with their beautiful and immersive work and i loved being thrilled by it . PROBLEMS: The villain was lame.At first i though wow this character is going to bring it because there were signs that he would, but he basically reminded me of Adam Sandler's vampire character from Hotel Transylvania.Just obnoxious all the way through. The side characters kind of got the short end of the stick with repetitive lines and jokes.I swear one character said the same thing 10 times. I was very happy to see the story come full circle. It's a great end to a wonderful series but i do see how they can continue it in some way,and if theatres have sold out crowds like the one i was part of for the advance showing it definitely might happen. Scale of 1-10 an 8½ |

I haven't got that far yet and yes, I know it will have zombies.
The acting and dialogue is stupid. The writing is also stupid: they landed in Nazi occupied France on the morning of D-Day and they are walking around talking loud like they were at a New York Yankees baseball game or taking a stroll down Central Park. Then they take refuge in a French home and there are Nazis everywhere down in the courtyard and adjacent streets, looking up at the houses and these dumb soldiers are looking out of the window by pulling the window covering aside almost halfway and have the light on in the room they were in. |

The Amazing Colossal Man (1957)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0050118/ 1950's America and the army are testing a new atomic weapon The Plutonium Bomb, the bomb fails to go off on time and unfortunately a stray civilian plane out of control flies into the danger zone. Colonel Glenn Manning defies orders and runs out to try to save the pilot but just as he gets near the plane the bomb goes off and he is caught in the explosion. He is still alive but they fear he will not last the night, when he is examined next morning he appears to have shed the decayed burnt skin but that is just the start of the weird changes that affect him. I've wanted to see this film for years, I've never seen it on TV but I found an Italian DVD with a dual English soundtrack https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15UDhaynci4 full movie https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkgoTJRcjcs colourised https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6j8zAv4qT8c
