"Part File" Recovery?

This has driven me nuts for a long time.
Total file size is Mp4 816mb in two WinRar parts. Part one is 500mb. Part 2 is 416mb.

I only have 397mb of 500mb from part 1 and have all of part 2 complete. I have been able to get both of these extracted. Part one is not a problem, I can edit out the uncompleted portion with BoilSoft splitter.
The problem is with Part 2. The Mp4 is extracted, but nothing will render it. (Five Vid players). So I try my vid editing tools, Windows Movie Maker, Nero Video 12, Windows DVD Maker, Boilsoft, Handbrake, and VidCoder.

Think my main question is can you get a "Part 2" playable and editable "without" having Part 1?

My Download speed is just horrendous and I hate to think of all the footage I've simply just deleted and wasted over the years due to not being able to get these viewable or editable.
I've looked online for software...but we know that story...You can spend weeks installing and uninstalling malware type of junk.
So...if anybody has any software input....I'd greatly appreciate it.

Maybe the part one contains the "header"; it means a kind of clue part that allows to play all the videos and the part two does not have it.
You can try with km player; usually that player installed without propaganda is able for playing even parts of videos.
Test it with the gspot detect codec program; if it says that there is no header; I don't promise nothing about that issue.

Thanks Truenonio....I'll give KM a shot...thanks. I'm sure the 'Header" in part one has everything to do with it. Just kinda hoping someone knows of something to get around it. Hate thinking of all those video files that had gone to waste.

You could try joining both MP4 files with a hex editor and edit the result with boilsoft, but I doubt it will work.
