Puritan magazine Olivia Newton-John fakes discussion

I've left the post in her thread as the magazine appears to be a genuine period piece & so of possible interest to fans.

However, several of the images are fakes. As one might expect, all of the spicier ones.

The first shot in aerobics gear is fake, her head pasted onto another's body (couldn't find the source of the body portion), the original head-shot is from an EMI promo card:



Page two is mostly real shots from the movie Xanadu (1980), for example:



Obviously that's Betty Grable in the top right corner of page two, an iconic shot by photographer Frank Powolny, used as a comparison to the shot on the left of the same page (also pictured in the first lobby card I included above) from Xanadu which obviously influenced by it.

The fake is the image in the bottom right corner of that page, lifting up her dress.

Again a fairly crude splice job, here's the real top half that is Olivia:



And here is where the explicit bottom half comes from (Lui magazine page):



Nice to see the common faker tactic of flipping an image to try & disguise it was from something else was in use even back then.

Last, third page, is also pretty obviously fake, just Olivia's face pasted into the mirror to make it seem like it is her. I haven't been able to track down the sources for the body & Olivia's face there, so a job for those interested in a challenge.

Hope this was of interest & feel free to discuss or add sources for that last shot if you know where they come from.

I had a feeling those couldn't be real, but wasn't completely sure. Huge thanks for clearing that up!
