I think that none of my favourites have been mentioned yet
Many great names have already been mentioned but my favourites in no particular order apart from the first: Drina Pavlovic are:
 My favourite Drina Pavlovic is possibly the rarest page 3 model of all, in terms of any original pictures of her from the newspaper (we can but live in hope  ).She did appear 3 times: "The Sun" (UK), 21 November 1970, pg. 3, "Tasty, that's Drina" aged 17 (I think she was wearing a clingy, tight, short sleeve sweater  )"The Sun" (UK), 6 July 1971, pg. 3, "Drina, in a little something she ran up" aged 18 (this could have been the sweater picture  )"The Sun" (UK), 19 December 1973, pg. 3, "Keep a date with darling Drina" aged 20 her only topless appearance (A Christmas present to her admiring fans, mostly drooling adolescents  , no doubt)I was completely infatuated , and discovered VEF on a web search a few months ago.She appears here on IMDB http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0667837/ One last piece of trivia she's married to Stephen Bent, for you soap addicts, who played Derek Benrose the guy who raped Lisa Dingle in Emmerdale. For me the following would feature in my top ten:
Danni Wheeler Tracey Coleman Rachel Ter Horst Anna Taverner (Pre totally unecessary boob job) Jo Guest Kathy Lloyd Lisa Bangert Wendy Slingsby Danni Wells Zoe McConnell Page 3 in my opinion was never as good once the legend that was Beverley Goodway retired. His photography was always creative and imaginative, he was replaced by the dull lifeless work of Alan Strutt whose work in my opinion almost killed off Page 3. Modern Page 3 in The Sun is much better now that we have Alison Webster doing the honours but please ditch the pointless and silly 'News in Briefs' crap!! I will say however there is a bit too much photoshop going on now, take a look at the girls in their 'Page 3 360' rotating poses and then compare with the paper shots and you will see that on several of the current girls silly tattoos have mysteriously disappeared. |
