The first porn star I met was in 1976 or 1977 at the old Melody Burlesque just off Time's Square in NYC. Melody Burlesque was a very darkly lit room with rows of theatre seats around a stage. There was no food or beverages there. Well one day Helen Madigan was performing and I got to talk with her some. never went beyond the chit chat between performer and fan. But is a memory I cherish.

I too live in S. Florida and porn stars and dancers are everywhere down here. I run into them a lot. Most are very friendly. Sarenna Lee is down right a sweetie!

I owned and operated a painting business in 1996. I hired a man recommended by the man's former high school art teacher. Turns out it was Ron Hud. Back in about 1999 or 2000 I was in a large adult video store in my hometown and after looking through a few rows of videos on shelves I came around the corner to another section of the store and I saw Christy Canyon sitting at a table signing autographs! I had only seen the newbie blonde in one or two vids. I can't recall her name at the moment. Jill and Star were friendly. The newbie blonde was really quite and didn't appear to want to be there.

In the 1977/78 when I was stationed in London I used to buy mags from Mary Millingtons shop in Norbury, just down from Norbury cop shop. Most Wednesdays when I went in she was there and always had time for a chat. She had a sideline of hardcore mags and I used to exchange stuff that I brought back from Germany. I know resurrecting old posts is frowned upon, but I had a great experience once. I was working in Sussex on a local newspaper in the late 1970s, and I was asked to go and interview somebody famous who had just opened her first shop - the word 'Body' was in the shop name. She was unknown at the time and I wrote that I doubted it would be a success! How wrong I was, as Anita Roddick went on to crush it!

I wonder how much that happens? I'm thinking it happens more with these "casting" sites like BRCC, GDP and others.

There was one girl on BRCC who used the name Daisy that I liked. I went looking for other stuff and found no other porn. However, I did find a thread for her on Freeones Board and it got kind of creepy. The stalkers there had tracked down other main stream modeling work she'd done, which is not too bad but they also posted her real Facebook page with her real name and lots of info about her. She works as an assistant manager at a clothing store that's part of a major chain. I decided to stop at that point. I started to feel stalkerish and it was getting weird.
