well well, what a topic to discuss. Yes a massive turn on actually buying pornography in public!! The thrill but also fear and embarrassment, knowing you were going to go into a certain shop and buy magazines that were for one thing - wanking over.
I remember the feeling of utter trepidations, walking down the street heading to a certain news agent or send band book shop, for one thing. The feeling of walking in and hearing the bell ring. I used to discreetly look up at the top shelf, tryin to not be seen by others that I was there to buy 'dirty books'. But I also loved it at the same time, I loved how filthy and dirty it was. I remember the feeling of discovered for the first time that there were magazines that showed girls who dropped their knickers and spread their legs. Girls who not only flashed their tits, but would spread their thighs, pull their knickers wide open and actually expose their fanny slit- their cunt hole between their thighs. So utterly amazing. And later, I felt strangely proud sometimes, that a compete stranger knew I was a wanker and wanked my cock over these filthy magazines. An the feeling of walking down the street after wards, with a bag stuffed full of dirty magazines, trying to go somewhere quiet to pour over all those sluts with their knickers down. Still to this day, nothing like it |

Did anyone else go through an elaborate scouting ritual of the newsagent? In and out with as much speed and anonymity as could be mustered? The correct money for the splash mag of choice. The covering copy of Gardener's Weekly. No eye contact and straight out the door.
Nothing worse than when someone came in behind you unnoticed - but that was always the way.

My earliest porn was found, hedge porn. As it was the mid 60's, not terribly exciting now, but when you are 12 it is just what you need.
Later, the act of buying the mag, was almost as exciting as what you did with it at home, albeit in a different way. (Although with some very disappointing sealed items, it probably exceeded the later excitement). Although I often didn't wait to get home, but headed straight for a carefully selected Gent's toilet - needed to have doors to the floor - to review the purchase and relieve a desperate hard-on. Edinburgh Gardens at the West End and Piccadilly Circus Tube Station where ones I remember using often. |

Hell no...it was terrifying! Lived in a small town where everyone knew each other...remember in HS driving 40 miles across state line with 3 friends to find the bunny mag with Suzanne Somers...
