A big tip of the hat to Manowar1952 for his efforts here, particularly on the Susan Douglas sets. There's a real diary of womens' fashions in these pics. It looks like they go from late 50's to around 1967/8. But in that period the changes are close to unbelievable. The early ones could almost have come from the forties. The later ones are classic 60's dollybird pics. They don't look like the same woman! But they are!

What's great about these posts (and this thread in general) is that I'm sure we all imagined that the photo sessions that produced what we saw in the mags or maybe bought later as photo sets also had lots of other shots that never saw the light of day. And now they have. Unfortunately, unlike with Ruth Cavendish and some of the others, no nipples have craftily crept in!

As I've said before, I'm a tights man and I had a few of the Douglas tights pics. But, as M1952 has kindly shown us, there was lots more! (And yes please Donside, if you have any SD pics that aren't amongst the last ten sets, please do post! Same for anyone else, of course.)

Susan Douglas was amongst the longest lasting of all the Toco models. And as RT Staples told me many years ago, you'd never find photos of her anywhere else. I don't think I'm betraying any great secret by saying that her real name was Patricia Garland. She can't have been too bothered about that being known, as a few sets were published under the "Pat Garwood" handle. Her husband was called Geoff and I wouldn't be suprised if he took her pics. They had children but split up.

Thanks to Manowar1952 for the pictures and to Medium2 for the extra information. It is always interesting to see photos that did not make it into the publications.

By way of request, if anyone has any Joan Paul photos they are always desired.
