have you googled internet watch foundation to see how they operate? they are quite random.
It was a film called Cold Eyes, it's a thriller. i don't know what the file said on the page obviously, 1F links don't have the title in the url.

I've not googled internet watch foundation i'm scared what i might find out.

read the technical issues section the fact that you got a warning may be specific to your isp as mal says you haven't actually accessed anything.

Just seen you posted wiki links, thanks

So it could really be seen as protecting anyone who stumbles on a warning not "You are in serious shit for seeing this warning"

Starting to breathe a little easier. this is scary as hell.

and to put your mind at rest finally hopefully that film is actually available to buy on amazon uk!

if that doesn't prove how random and incorrect their labelling can be i don't know what does.

just imagine the scenario they are trying to prove to a court that someone tried to download this evil film and the defence lawyer pulls a copy out of his pocket and his receipt from amazon

At most, scare tactics against 'Ye Auld Pirates' especially given what it was. You most definitely have nothing to worry about Sir
I believe that 1filcher are under some scrutiny anyway, as are all the non dark web hosts.

Its little more than generalised scatter gun approach message - the wording is laughable -
from the ISP , who are coming under more and more pressure to crack down on ALL downloaders of shared online content.

If your worried about the children angle a few offenders recently have been done for nothing more than search terms backed up by ISP & their own computer records.

These types didnt have any content on their PCs at all

Avoid doing research of anything illegal would be my advice

If your living in the wrong country or just want to remain anonymous online start using a paid VPN that doesnt keep logs. That way your online activity will be no ones business but your own.

I wonder what message the ISP is sending to youtube given its got more shared material
which never seems to get taken down years after the initial upload

They even survived a 1 billion dollar lawsuit - speaks volumes for the ineptitude of todays laws and why their going after the soft targets in the small up/downloaders.
