It seems that Mr Trump will at last honour Great Britain with a visit - next week. There are going to be major protests in Trafalgar Square and outside Downing Street apparently, but except for sleeping overnight at the US Ambassador's house in Regent's Park, where he will arrive and leave by helicopter, Mr Trump won't actually be in London. He will be entertained by Prime Minister May in an official function at Blenheim Palace (Oxfordshire, about 70 miles away) and he will take tea with HMQ at Windsor Castle. HMQ is quite good at this sort of thing.

I would be a little bit more impressed with the planned protest against Mr Trump's visit if the protesters were willing to make an effort and go to Woodstock (where Blenheim Palace is nearby) or even to Windsor Great Park. But much as I dislike Mr Trump I can't even be arsed to go to Trafalgar Square to demonstrate against him. If he wants to visit Great Britain, we should let him come and go as he pleases. In fact, if he shows up and no one can be bothered either way, I suspect this would get under his skin a lot more than big demonstrations, because it will mean we are all ignoring him, as I intend to do.

7) Well, it is only a page and a half long, but North Korea is no longer a nuclear threat.

9) Pompeo will get things straightened out!
10) Pompeo says meeting were "productive"
11) North Korea says talks were "really disappointing".

Wait until Putin gets him alone, one on one. I can't begin to imagine the damage that will be done.

We need to remind the people of earth that Donald Trump has never had the support of a plurality, let alone a majority, of the American people. As he said, American elections can be rigged. His minions did it.
