The point of all this is that Trump is an extraordinarily obvious blackmail target. This is before we even get to his policy positions or those of his administration, or the constituency he supposedly represents. He's unfit for office because, in his long history of compromised behavior, he can be manipulated into doing things to keep that quiet. This is not hard to understand. The man has a security clearance only because he was elected. No FBI investigator would clear him for anything otherwise, and to wit, his son-in-law can't even get a clearance and he isn't suspected of anything nearly as gross.

People often work this problem in the wrong direction in order to justify their belief in the guy accused. Sure, I pay for sex, enjoy it and consume pornography. I've groped women and done all kinds of things that would make the liberal blogosphere blanche. The difference is I know my behavior disqualifies me from public life. I know that what is in my past eliminates me from participation in the leadership of any government, whether state or local. That's fine, I accepted that bargain long ago, because it is more worth it to me to enjoy the company of hookers than it is to sit through a fucking committee meeting.

So the counterargument that I hear — which by the way is akin to the one we heard 20 years ago with Clinton — that a chief executive can't be judged on sexual morality or infidelity or whatever because who among us hasn't committed that sin, is wrong. It's not about who he fucked or really even how much he paid her. It's about concealing that behavior — and we have seen the lengths to which he will go to do that. You don't have to be a raving conspiracy theorist to believe that Trump has something in his past that some agent is able to use against him. For Christ's sake, he has literally refused his Constitutional duty to enforce a law passed by the legislative branch, in the form of the sanctions against Russia. Wonder why he would go to those lengths?

We have a compromised president, and that is a president unfit for the office and this has zero to do with his political ideology.

All this is interesting, but give the Prez some credit: he improves his lot. From Stormy Daniels to Playmate Karen McDougal is one helluva step up.

I am not totally sure. I remember when Tiger Wood's somewhat complicated extra-curricular love life hit the news, the porn actress in his mix seemed to me to be rather more classy than the others. She was the only one who expressed any regret for her conduct and she did come up with quite a good line.

Oh, good God. If that were the litmus test then few would ever make it to the oval office. Bill Clinton did it in the oval office. His transgressions twenty years ago while in office are part of the reason why the whole Stormy Daniels story hasn't gained more traction than it has or why the Access Hollywood tape was little more than a blip on the radar coming only weeks before the election. Been there, done that - got the t shirt. The bar can't be lowered for some and then jacked back up for others.

It was widely known that Trump was a serial philanderer and not at all monogamous well before the election. I have no idea why anybody bothered paying any of these women off. Right now Mr. Mueller has not sought indictments against Donald Trump or the Trump Organization. If indictments were to be issued both are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Did Russia interfere in the election? Yes Did that interference materially influence the result? Probably not nearly as much as Mr. Comey's actions and Mrs. Clinton's blundering campaign strategy. (Mind you, I voted for her and despised Trump long before he started running.) Mr. Mueller has not alleged illegal collusion by the Trump campaign with Russia.

So let's wait until Mueller finishes his investigation or Trump actually tries to stop it before we bring out the hanging ropes or tar and feathers.

Honestly speaking, Clinton's mafia doesn't like the way they lose their control on USA.

I hope that Democrats will promote in the future a better candidate than this strange woman.
