Potential illegal material appearing when entering the site!
I rebooted my phone this morning to factory settings (galaxy s4) and all 5 times atempting to enter VEF this afternoon resulted on a pop up web page opening.
Said page has 2 images immediately visible. Top one is a blurry image of a dog humping a adult person. Bottom is of a naked baby on floor and the lower half of a naked man hunched down next to it. No actual sexual interaction was taking place but the man did have a erection. When said page pops up it downloads some kinda .APK item into my downloads. I delete it immediately every time. I am extremely horrified and concerned, has anyone else encountered this? Pop up blocker is on and it still appears. I know there is nothing illegal on the forums themselves but if it doesn't stop I may have to stop coming here. Please help! This is what the pop up is listed as In my history list. I post it here as proof that it opened when I was trying to enter VEF and I was not searching for it. |

Deleted the data off my Internet app. Tried again praying it had gone back to normal.
Same result. The page had a different URL this time. Also the banner above the previously mentioned images is PORN DROID. |

I checked with Chrome and no adblocker at the login page and got the normal ads that are usually there. I will check with tech on this just in case.

Good news, I searched for and opened VEF on Yahoo rather then Google like I normally do and no version of the page of concern appeared.
A standard pop up to a chat page did but nothing else. Quote:
No the item at the top of the image (finally legal 18) is the page of concern. The bottom item is me searching for VEF on google. I probably mispelled it. And the middle is VEF opening in it's mobile view. |

Definitely check with your tech people.
It resumed bringing up the page on both Yahoo & Google. Now I really don't know what to do. |

Try going straight to the home page url without going to a search engine first and see what you get.

Last 4 times freshly opening VEF the page of concern did not appear. Standard flirt4free pop ups did instead.
Thank you god. |

Maybe someone here would be kind enough to answer this question.
I don't own one of these smartphones yet primarily because of concerns like this. My questions are: 1. Is it possible to reset one of these phones back to its factory settings (to get rid of such a problem)? 2. Or, is it possible to set up such a phone so that it doesn't have such problems in the first place? On a PC, I can use Firefox or PaleMoon with seven or eight security extensions and I never see such a situation (at least haven't to this point). Can one of these phones be locked down to the point where you don't have these type of problems? I know if I had a problem such as movieman describes, I'd freak a bit also. |

I've had a phone for 4ish years and only encountered this pop up 1 single time before on a site along the lines of xvideos or xnxx but it wasn't reoccuring like this incident was. So I wouldn't say it's a consistent problem to worry about. I reset my phone every month when the data time table turns over out of habbit. Some of the older phones once you reset to factory settings you had to get a tech person at phone retail to open it for you . Not anymore it just goes right into the basic set up process.
