Preferred File Host these days?
Hi,
I've been away for a while, but want to re-upload some videos that are currently dead links on the forum. Last time I did this, I used 1fichier, is this file host still OK? or is there an alternative 'preferred' host these days? Thanks in advance |

I'm only interested in file hosters who offer me their service for free. My logic is that I'm not prepared to pay for the privilege of giving my stuff away.
I've had a free account with depositfiles for many years now, after having had my stash blitzed by RS and then MediaFire. A feature that I like from DF is that they keep files for 90 days after last download, which I think is pretty convenient for VEF users. If no one at all wants a file for 90 days running, there doesn't seem to be much point in forcing it to remain live. Two of my last four uploads to DF have uploaded fine (i.e. I got a download link) but then immediately vanished into thin air - no reason given. That's damn annoying, so I'm interested in finding an alternative provider. I like 1fichier as a downloader because it seems to give superb speed. But for a free account the keep duration is only 30 days after last download, which isn't enough in my book to prevent repeated requests for re-up. So does anyone have a recommendation for me? My wish list:
Anyone got a suggestion that fits the bill? .

Pity on more because they are as fast as Fichier. For my own part, I used to switch to Filefactory and created a free-account there. - They offer 90 days persistance after last downloads were effected. - DL-Speeds are above DF which is reasonable, however donīt match Fichier or Mediafire though. - Uploading goes without troubles. - No captchaīs needed, just a waiting-time of 30 seconds. - Even on fixed IPīs, you can start a new download ~1hour after you made the last one (this however does vary sometimes) Hope this helps to weigh your future decision. BTW: Nice to see you back posting, Mate .

You're absolutely right. I've never had a problem as a downloader with FF. The speed is indeed reasonable, no captcha, only a 30 second wait time. Registration was ridiculously simple (I haven't even been required to verify my email address!) and the file listing looks very user-friendly. Thanks mate. .

I would love to hear any reliable premium link generator. Rather than paying multiple filehosts, one paid premium link generator is better.
