Given all the rants about Ms Begum, I note that there seems to be no evidence that she participated in any act of violence. She has said a number of things about Britain which several posters here have said about various British politicians. So if that is the basis of accusing her of criminality, I fail to see the difference.

The cavalier attitude of the British government toward citizenship is much closer to that of the Nazi state than anyone should feel comfortable with.

Yeah I wished I can say my relatives wired me $88 millions and it's all legal money from legal legitimate sources:

Ms Begum has supported Britain's enemies. William Joyce never participated in any acts of violence but was hanged as a traitor and rightly so. You Americans jolly nearly hanged Tokyo Rose. You seem not to have noticed that Ms Begum took actions, rather than merely having controversial opinions.

For the record, I am against the decision to strip her of citizenship because I think it is illegal and that, by acting illegally, the government is showing malice. It is arbitrary and an abuse of power. But I note that no one has shown a more cavalier attitude to citizenship than Ms Begum herself.

Maybe the solution to this ISIS Terrorist problem is for every country to follow the UK's great example so that every ISIS terrorist suspect is stateless and so can't be prosecuted anywhere.

Great idea eh?

There are no 'links'

Because no current respected legal authorities support his view of the treason law.

Pink Floyd's Waters slams Venezuela border aid concert

Quote:
Billionaire Richard Branson is backing the Friday show in the Colombian border city of Cucuta with a fundraising target of $100 million to provide food and medicine for Venezuelans suffering widespread shortages.

Latin singers Alejandro Sanz, Nacho, Luis Fonsi and Maluma have so far confirmed they will perform in the concert, which has evoked comparisons to Irish rock star Bob Geldof’s 1985 global “Live Aid” concert to raise money for famine relief in Ethiopia.

It has nothing to do with humanitarian aid at all,” the 75-year old Waters said. “It has to do with Richard Branson ... having bought the US saying, ‘We have decided to take over Venezuela, for whatever our reasons may be.’

Since 2014, under Barack Obama, the USA has decided to economically boycott Venezuelan people and pushed all the Western countries to do the same if they don't want to support economic sanctions.

You are a clever man and I like analogy.

What if, I (US government) tell you:
- Now you (Maduro) don't have to manage the education of your children (Venezuelan people who elected Maduro)
-You answer me: "I'm here at home and do what I want."
- I reply: "Ok. I'll block your bank account, I'll ask all my friends to do the same. I'll not let you buy food at the shop or ... no... I'll let you buy an apple per week of work."

So you see your children "scavendge for food". So you try to call your cousin to help you and when I know that, I threaten your cousin to suffer the same sanctions.

That's what happens since 2015.

Noticed how cloudy it was so couldn't see the super Snow moon last night or I would have taken a picture of it and posted it. Typical, the last few nights have been so clear you could see dozens of stars.

Derek Hatton suspended from Labour Party days after he was readmitted

Derek Hatton has been suspended from the Labour Party just two days after he was readmitted.

The former deputy leader of Liverpool City Council had his membership reinstated on Monday after he was expelled from the party 34 years ago.

He has been notified of suspending pending an investigation into a tweet he posted in 2012, according to the Liverpool Echo.

It is understood this tweet, which has since been deleted, included criticism of the actions of the Israeli government and urged British Jews to speak out against its actions.

It is a myth that stateless people can't be prosecuted. If a stateless person commits a crime, the jurisdiction will rest with the country in whose territory he/she commits the crime. Rudolf Nureyev was stateless for many years after defecting from the USSR but this did not mean he could have murdered another ballet dancer in Paris or Vienna and nothing bad would have happened to him.
