Seen 22 mins and it looks good. Sean Penn is good, as always

And who is the beautiful Naomi Watts? Never heard of her, but she's great in this movie so far

I do love my Asian horror films and I've just got round to watching this. It's not bad at all, with some pretty good moments.

The plot is this: a journalist has written an article about an underage sex scandal in Korea and she starts to get threatening calls and emails. Her editor's daughter accidentally answers one of the calls and her behaviour changes and becomes more threatening. The calls increase and a secret is discovered that affects everyone.

It's worth watching for See-Woo Eun, who plays the little girl in the film. It's genuinely amazing that she was only 5 when the film was made. In fact, she's probably the best actress in the film.

Alas, the ending doesn't live up to the rest of the film - it's certainly not as good as Ring, for example. It's well worth a watch, though.

Ridley Scott's first film and it's a gem. I love the way in which Keith Carradine's Armand D'Hubert is trapped by another man's psychotic enmity and finds himself doubly trapped because he has earned an unwanted reputation as a renowned duellist, merely because some deranged a**hole keeps seeking him out and trying to kill him.

Not sure about this one. I`ve been watching it for over an hour now and yes it`s all there , the effects are great , the acting is perfectly adequate and the thumping action music kicks in at the correct time and erm whatever. But there`s a hollowness about it that i can`t put my finger on. I`m watching it but i`m not engrossed you know. There`s a detachment. Fact it`s almost a kind of disinterest as to anything that happens to the characters on the screen. Now that can`t be because i have seen the original surely ?. No it must be with the way the entire film was made. As in damn lazily with no thought to actual bloody tension
